Bonsoir!

I am in Paris standing at the 'bar section' of a coffee shop (cuz it's cheaper) with smoke from the patron next to me wafting over. Terrible flight in. Thunder and tornadoes in Chi town made me miss my flight, but two cool kids from CA and got a flight to Frankfurt and eventually to Paris. However, half my luggage didn't make it. Missed check in at the hostel, had to wander for two hours and pay 90 euros for a hotel room. Bleah! but I'm here and being an ugly American, whoo hoo! Should see Liene tonight or tomorrow.

Inaugural post. Yee-haw!

Craziness and I are getting to be really good friends. After a really good working acquaintance while I was doing Trader Joe's graveyard shifts and Starbucks in the mornings, we've gotten a lot closer now that I'm trying to organize my life enough to leave the country without a group or a program backing me. Whew! (not trying to whine, but i still cannot wrap my head around being there, not here)

The apartment is trashed in that half moved-out, half dirty-bachelor-pad sorta way. I think I have mono for the second time in my life. The doctor is still trying to tell me if this is precisely true or not. I've worked my last day at TJ's and it's all moving craziness for the next week while I try and sort my life out. Here there be dragons!
